The Ambassador of the International Human Rights Commission in Iraq, Dr. Sadiq Al-Moussaw received a group of recent peace advocates from the Office of the High Commissioner in his office on Monday 11 September 2017 in the presence of the director of the Baghdad office Mr. Abdul Hakim Radhi Hassoun and Director of Media Baghdad Media Office Maha Al-Marsoumi, Professor Safa Bodn, author and journalist, Professor Mahmoud Alfadli. After welcoming the attendance by the Ambassador of the Commission, he spoke about the duties of the Office of the High Commissioner as written in the rules of procedure, the most important of which is to monitor the violation of human rights and to defend all segments of the society and to provide humanitarian assistance and assistance to displaced people, orphans and widows and to help people with special needs and to defend human rights regardless of religious, ethnic and sectarian affiliation . As for the achievements of the Commission, including the cessation of the US air strike on Syria after the sending of hard evidence records Fido shows the so-called free army to make a chemical bomb and throw it at safe families. Which killed scores of children and women. And triggering the killing of Muslims in Burma, where the head of the World Peace Assembly sent a letter to the governor of Burma, warning of crackdown on human rights violations. Sent 1,000 peacekeepers to Burma, and the Governor of Burma responded to his request to stop the killing and accountability of the defaulters. As well as the Secretary-General's letter to the Prime Minister of Burma. The audience talked about the internal situation, especially the issue of the referendum of Kurdistan and their quest for separation from Iraq. Everyone read the message sent by the UNHCR ambassador to Massoud Barzani. The response of Ambassador Mousavi N Mr. Masoud Khatib addressed us to maintain the unity of Iraq. Much has been welcomed in Kurdistan about the content of this valuable message. But we are still awaiting Barzani's response to sitting at the negotiating table and understanding to cancel the unconstitutional and illegal referendum. Soon, our response will be crucial to uncovering the facts. Having seen Israel's quest and urged the Kurds to referendum and secession. For the next two days, we will urge the President of the World Peace Caucus and the Secretary-General of the Commission to intervene and send a letter to the territorial Government.
