FORMAL INVITATION TO ATTEND THE COMMEMORATION OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY IN NIGERIA
Join us in marking the 1st anniversary of this groundbreaking moment for International Human Rights day in Nigeria, by the Nigeria Central Office of International Human Rights Commission Headquarter in Czech Republic.
Please accept this as formal Invitation to the events on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day in Nigeria at ladi kwali Sheraton hotel abuja on 10 December, 2021.
This event will present the international context which affects the decision making process and will encourage human rights advocates, lawyers, judges and human rights defenders, civic leaders, journalists and others relatives and the political leaders all will participate in the event.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights sets out a broad range of fundamental rights and freedoms to which all of us are entitled. It guarantees the rights of every individual everywhere, without distinction based on nationality, place of residence, gender, national or ethnic origin, religion, language, or any other status.
The Human Rights Day is observed by the international community every year on 10 December. It commemorates the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As the formal inception of Human Rights Day dates from 1950, after the Assembly passed resolution 423 (v) inviting all States and interested organizations to adopt 10 December of each year as Human Rights Day.
When the General Assembly adopted the Declaration, it was proclaimed as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, towards which individuals and societies should strive by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance.
This event will commemorate the struggle that has taken place over the years to secure and improve human rights, Youth tanding Up for Human Rights, stand up for someone's rights today, our Rights, our Freedoms, always, Rights matters, working for your Rights, my Voice counts, celebrate human rights, Speak up, Stop Discrimination, embrace Diversity, end Discrimination in nigeria by the central office of international Human Rights Commission Headquarter in Czech Republic. The planning committee of the event are currently accepting nominations for awards.
