Camara Municipal de São Domingos in the Republic of Cape Verde marks an established fundamental relationship with International Human Rights Commission
On this day, 12th March 2021 as Camara Municipal de São Domingos in the Republic of Cape Verde marks an historical 27th anniversary, established a fundamental relationship with International Human Rights Commission. During the two day historical event, the amiable Mayor of São Domingos Dr. Isaias Varela 2020 and I, Olugbenga Adewoyin on behalf of the distinguished Secretary General of Internation Human Rights Commission Prof. h.c Rafal Marcin Wasik signed this protocol of cooperation to the benefits of the general wellbeing of the entire municipals of São Domingos and the beautiful people of Cape. Verde. Under the existing jurisdictions, the sides intend finding the ways to develop bilateral cooperation in order to create modern structures to enhance public security, protection of human rights, counteract corruption, and provide comprehensive assistance in fighting against terrorism, international organized crime, illegal migration, drugs and weapons trafficking, money laundering and economic crimes, monitoring democratic elections, training of observers of local democratic elections, implementation of humanitarian programs.
Camaral Municipal de São Domingos is now the third local partner in collaboration with International Human Rights Commission under the IHRC Local International Organisational platform following Camaral Municipal de São Miguel and Camaral Municipal de Santa Cruz, all in the Republic of Cape Verde. This program is to create cooperations between local authorities from around the world to improve the quality and effectiveness of their services to their local communities.
