Respect

Every human being must be treated with Respect – Sir. Rafal Marcin Wasik
If there’s any universal truth or common teaching across various religions, it’s probably the golden rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated yourself. One of the most important skills you can learn both for your career and social life.
It’s about understanding where the other person is coming from and, even more important, treating their concerns the way you would your own.
If there is a needy person among you, do not harden your heart and shut your hand. Rather, you must open your hand and lend him sufficient for whatever he needs. They have the same two hands, two legs; a heart to love and not to hate and even the colour of blood is the same. We forget the purpose of our life, for what we have been created.

We need to understand that we have to rise above the boundaries of caste, colour, creed, nationality, the conventional religion. There is a lot of hue and cry in this world, people are starving, they are craving for love. It is high time we rise from the petty issues of religion, fighting over ‘my religion is better than others’. Every human being must be treated with respect.

Educating societies about hatred and violence is an old story in human history. But there is a better way. For example, decades of research on intergroup contact show how age-appropriate education can help people to live together harmoniously, even across previously adversarial barriers. It is vital to understand throughout the world the nature of human diversity and the fact of our common humanity.
